FirstCity Crestone Portfolio Company Acquires Porta-Kamp

August 3, 2009- Teton Buildings, LLC, a FirstCity Crestone portfolio company, recently acquired the assets of Porta-Kamp, Inc. Based in Houston, TX, Porta Kamp designs and manufactures remote workforce housing and commercial modular buildings. A pioneer in the industry, Porta Kamp has installed housing throughout the world and is considered the premier provider of housing in extreme arctic or desert conditions. In addition to establishing Teton as an international supplier, Porta-kamp’s 260,000 sq ft Houston location, will allow Teton to service the needs of its current Oilfield skid customers in the Southern United States.

“The combination of Teton and Porta Kamp will create the premier provider of remote workforce housing in the world,” Commented Richard Horrigan. “The dramatic decrease in worldwide oil drilling and resource extraction has resulted in many of our competitors either liquidating or filing for bankruptcy.
